Today De Gregoris family can boast about selling olive oil to the Vatican City. This is why De Gregoris' love of the land and of olive trees lasts from time. At the beginning of '800 De Gregoris family was already considered one of the most important family of Sonnino, in fact notable ancestors appear in the family tree, but the "real tree" of the family is been all along the olive oil tree. The passion of field work, together with big landed properties lend De Gregoris family to take care of their lands and just in this way De Gregoris family was born.

OleificioSixty years ago, the granddaddy Luigino perceived that the olive farm needed a change. During the post-war period granddaddy Luigino, a careful observer, was daily witness that comfortable families lost their patrimony and others developed their economic conditions. It was necessary to do something. In 1963, De Gregoris family, giving an innovation, set up the first single-loop olive press in Sonnino center, a real revolution increased by the birth of another olive press in Sonnino plain, called Capocroce. This was only an intuition of granddaddy Luigino without logistic and studious valuations. After that, other olive oil workers traced granddaddy Luigino works.

In 1990 Luigino's sons followed his enemies and created a single olive oil center. The modern and functional structure placed in Capocroce, near important arterial streets (S.S. 256, Fossanova Abbey direction, 20 minutes away from Frosinone toolgate and S.S. Appia 6 kilometres away) is characterized by a modern system with two processing lines for a work capacity of 50 quintal per hour, an internal structure of 1000 m² and an external of 50000 m², guarantees appropriate places to receive customers.

From generation to generation, over innovation line, today young people of De Gregoris family rely on a new business order: the marketing.

Vatican State job order is only an emerging point of a great work that led them to be supplier of important food chains and restaurants, but De Gregoris family opens the door to all that want to shop directly in the olive press during all the year, but from October to February you can purchase the same olive oil that gush out directly in olive oil containers.
